enough games follow in the explosive footsteps of Contra and Metal
Slug, so it's good news that Mercenary Kings half-exists (and will fully
exist early this year). In development now, the sidescrolling
shoot-'em-up adds crafting and online co-op into the mix. It doesn't
hurt that Tribute Games made that Scott Pilgrim tie-in, and can endow
this snappy action game with the same sort of exquisite pixel art.
